At Promised Land Community Church, we believe God is a sending God…He sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to seek and save that which is lost (Luke 19:10) and Christ is also commissioning His followers to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 18:19-20)
With that in mind, we view every blood-bought believer as a missionary and it is our desire, as a Great Commission church, to equip and send our church family on mission for God, both locally and globally. Our goal is to model Acts 1:8b “and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” We encourage our church family to see evangelism as a lifestyle. As we go throughout our Jerusalem (Creedmoor) we are to share the love of Christ and the message of reconciliation with those the Lord places in our path.
We have had the privilege to send and support missionaries that have been called into full-time mission service, as well as, to encourage our own PLCC members to participate in short-term mission trips. We have sent teams to Mexico, Thailand, and Belarus with future plans to send a team to Southeast Asia.
